Kaliumtetrabroompalladaat(II)(CAS:13826-93-2) wordt gebruikt als katalysator bij organische synthese. Het wordt gebruikt in verschillende door palladium gekatalyseerde kruiskoppelingsreacties, zoals de Suzuki-Miyaura-reactie, de Sonogashira-koppeling en de Heck-reactie.
